HILLSBORO, Kan. - Coming off a scoreless draw in its season opener the Tabor College women's soccer team fell to the University of Sioux Falls in its home opener 6-0 Friday afternoon at Joel H. Wiens Stadium.


The Cougars used a 4 goal first half including 3 goals in just over a minute span to take command of the match heading into the break.

HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Tabor College women's soccer team kicked-off its season and the 2010 Tabor College athletic season Wednesday night in McPherson, Kan. as the Lady Jays earned a scoreless draw against Central Christian College.


"I was very impressed with the effort the women gave in the first contest of the season," said head women's soccer coach Grant Brubacher. "Our competitiveness and work ethic were excellent."

HILLSBORO, Kan. - Herschel V. Jenkins High School graduate Kalee Cross (Savannah, Ga.) has signed a letter of intent to play soccer next season for the Lady Jays.


Cross, 5-4 goalkeeper, earned Honorable Mention Class 3AAAA, and First Team honors during her career for the Warriors, while being selected to the Costal Georgia All-Star team in 2010.

HILLSBORO, Kan. - Camas High School senior Jessica Yraceburu (Camas, Wash.) has signed a letter of intent to compete in track and field and soccer next season for Tabor College.


In track and field, Yraceburu a four-year letter winner who specialized in the pole vault was a two-time state competitor during her career for the Papermakers.

HILLSBORO, Kan. - Sullivan High School senior Chelsea Brown (Sullivan, Mo.) has signed a letter of intent to play soccer next season for Tabor College.


Brown, a 5-8 goalkeeper, recorded 481 saves this past season for the Eagles including a game-high of 43 saves.
