HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Tabor College Men's Track and Field Team placed seventh out of nine teams at the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Track Meet held Friday and Saturday on the campus of Ottawa University, in Ottawa, Kan.


Freshman Ryan Chippeaux (Wichita, Kan.) earned All-KCAC honors after finishing in a tie for second place in the high reaching a height of 1.93 meters.

Spencer Boyes won both the 5000 and 10000 meter races for the Bluejays

HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Tabor College Men's Track and Field Team won four events and placed second this past Saturday at the ACCK Meet held on the campus of Sterling College, in Sterling, Kan.


Tabor finished in a tie for second place out of five teams in a field that was made up of schools affiliated with the Associated Colleges of Central Kansas.

HILLSBORO, Kan. - Tabor College freshman Ryan Chippeaux (Wichita, Kan.) won the high jump this past weekend at the Enduro Classic on the Campus of Friends University in Wichita, Kan. and in the process qualified for the NAIA National Track and Field Championships.


Chippeaux qualified for nationals as he placed first in the high jump, reaching a height of 2.01 meters (6'7 1/4").

Hagen Turner signs his letter of intent for Tabor College

Hillsboro, Kan. - Walsh High School senior Hagen Turner (Walsh, Colo.) has signed a letter of intent to compete in track and field next season for the Tabor College Bluejays.


Turner, a 6-0, middle distance and distance runner, will be looked at to add depth in multiple distance and relay races next season for the Bluejays.

Hillsboro, Kan. - The Tabor College Men's and Women's Track and Field teams took part in "Trunk or Treat" at Parkview Mennonite Brethren church in Hillsboro, Kan.Trick or Trunk is a Halloween event sponsored by the church for children from the ages 1 through 6th grade.


The team members decorated head coach Dave Kroeker's pick-up truck with Tabor College athletic department gear and in order to receive there treat, the participants in this event were asked to make a basket using a Nerf basketball.
