The Tabor College Women's Soccer Team ended its three-game winning streak Friday afternoon, falling to 24th ranked Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes, 0-4. Junior Aubrey Whitehorn (Duncanville, Texas.) had another double-digit save effort, recording 15 saves in the match.


The Lady Jays improved tremendously during the season. They were able to break their 21 game losing streak and ended their season with a three-game win streak to put themselves in the conference semifinals.

Hillsboro, Kan - After being named KCAC Offensive Player of the Week for scoring seven goals and an assist in two games senior forward Jessica Burden (Little Elm, Texas.) was named National NAIA Offensive Soccer Player of the Week.


"I am very proud of Jessica and the way she has been playing," said Head Caoch Grant Brubacher. "Her hard work and determination to improve gave her the opportunity to be recognized in this way.

Hillsboro, Kan. - Tabor College Women's Soccer juniors Jessica Burden (Little Elm, Texas.) and Aubrey Whitehorn (Duncanville, Texas.) were honored this week by the KCAC as conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.


Burden was named KCAC Offensive player of the Week after she tallied seven goals (4 against Friends, 3 against Bethany) and one assist in leading the Bluejays to wins over Friends University, and Bethany College in the first round of the KCAC tournament.

Hillsboro, Kan. - What a difference a year makes as the Tabor College Women's Soccer Team finds themselves in the semifinals of the KCAC Tournament after cruising past Bethany College, 5-0.


The win continues to mark a remarkable turnaround for a team that went winless last season and now finds itself just two wins away from a conference tournament championship.

On Wednesday afternoon the Lady Jays took advantage of the wind to defeat visiting Friends University, 4-0.


Tabor (5-4 KCAC, 7-10 Overall) will play in the first round of the KCAC playoffs against Bethany College, in Hillsboro, at 2 p.m., Friday Nov. 7.
