
HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Tabor College Softball Team earned its first sweep of the season by defeating visiting York College (York, Neb.) in both games of a double-header on Saturday afternoon.
In game one, Tabor used a strong pitching performance and timely hitting to shut-out York, 7-0. After a scoreless first three innings by both teams, Tabor senior Audrey Whitehorn's (Duncanville, Texas) double in the bottom of the fourth inning drove in the first run of the game, giving the Bluejays a 1-0 lead.

HILLSBORO, Kan. - Serrano High School senior Courtney Meister (Phelan, Calif.) has signed a letter of intent to play softball next season at Tabor College.
Meister, a 5-2 outfielder, will bring speed, versatility, and depth to the Lady Jays' outfield next season.
HILLSBORO, Kan. - The 2010 Tabor College Softball season couldn't of gotten off to a better start as freshman Roxanne Rodriguez (McAllen, Texas) pitched a no-hitter in game one of the Bluejays season opener against Haskell Indian Nations University this past Friday in El Dorado, Kan. at Butler Community College.
Rodriguez pitched six shutout innings allowing no runs on no hits while striking out nine and walking just three batters as Tabor defeated Haskell 8-0, in game one of the double-header.

HILLSBORO, Kan - Granite Hills High School senior Maddy Simpson (Apple Valley, Calif.) has signed a letter of intent to play softball in 2011 for Tabor College.

HILLSBORO, Kan. - Ellinwood High School senior Alex Pike (Ellinwood, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to play softball next season for Tabor College.
Pike, a 5-3 catcher, earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors while helping lead Ellinwood High School to the second round of the Regional Tournament in 2009. She will be looked at to provide depth at multiple positions next season for the Bluejays.
