HILLSBORO, Kan. - A turnover-prone Tabor College Men's Basketball team fell to visiting Kansas Wesleyan University Saturday night, 86-63.


The Bluejays, who had won the pervious meeting in Salina back in early January, committed 26 turnovers, leading to 35 points for the Coyotes.

HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Tabor College Men's Basketball team completed a two-game sweep of Ottawa University Thursday night as the Bluejays defeated the visiting Braves in impressive fashion, 68-51.


Tabor opened the game with a quick 9-2, run and would never look back. The Bluejays used a strong defensive effort to keep the Braves at bay and headed into the break leading by eight, 35-27.

McPHERSON, Kan. - Coming off the heels of its most impressive victory of the season against Bethel College, the Tabor College Men's Basketball Team fell flat Saturday night, as the McPherson College Bulldogs defeated the Bluejays, 91-65, in McPherson.


Tabor struggled to get anything going in the first half and fell behind early as the Bluejays shot just nine percent from behind the arc and 30 percent from the field. McPherson jumped out to a 40-25 halftime lead behind 57 percent shooting from the field.

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Tabor College Men's Basketball Team ended its five game losing streak in arguably its most impressive performance of the season dominating Bethel College both offensively and defensively 77-42, Thursday night in North Newton, Kan.


The win was also bittersweet for the Bluejays as they avenged an earlier season loss at the hands of the Threshers back in December.

HILLSBORO, Kan. - Tabor College senior basketball player Kyle Kroeker (Hillsboro, Kan.) was honored this past week by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference as he earned the KCAC Champions of Character Award.


The award is given out weekly by the conference to student athletes who demonstrate excellence in athletics, in the classroom, and in the communities in which they live.
