The Bluejays Co-Ed Cheer Squad is back again! Last year the squad was resurrected and now they are gaining strength and numbers by each passing semester.

The squad cheers year round during both the football and basketball seasons. The squad is proud of their cheers, tumbling and most importantly stunting. We strive to keep up with the national level of cheerleading as it evolves into a more difficult sport.

This year the squad is doing a great deal of fun activities as a part of our ministry of encouragement on campus. We started off the football season by making an encouraging banner with the football team's motto for their locker room. We have also made signs to cheer with to give the crowd more opportunity for involvement. The added mascot this season involves the young and old alike.

Speaking of signs, you can see a picture of a few of our cheerleaders this year on large flyers around campus sporting the bookstore's eye patches of TC and the Power Jay. Our fundraisers this year help us meet our goal of heightening school spirit and allow us to support our talented football and basketball players at the NAIA playoffs. We offer face painting to both the young and young at heart. Throughout the year we will be selling buttons not only to help others support their favorite players but also to help the fans identify the players those around them are supporting. Although, the squad only cheers at football and basketball games, we have also been selling buttons to help support the other sports programs here on campus.
