Hillsboro, Kan. - For the first time in Tabor College history, Hillsboro was home to a college cheer and dance competition as the school hosted the first annual Bluejay Cheer Classic.

HILLSBORO, Kan. - A year after competitive cheer was named an emerging sport by the NAIA, Tabor College will be sending a squad of cheerleaders to Ottawa on Sat. March 5 to compete at the first ever KCAC conference invitational.

HILLSBORO, Kan. - Tabor College President Jules Glanzer announced that Jeremy Nigh has been named the new head coach of the Bluejays' cheerleading squad and Academic Media and Marketing Coordinator.

"Jeremy brings a high level of expertise and experience to our cheer team," said Vice President of Athletics Rusty Allen. "He is not only an accomplished cheerleader but has taught cheer all over the country. Combine his expertise with his desire to see young men and women grow in Christ and we have good reason to be excited."
