Athletic Background

During her collegiate playing career at Cowley County Unruh was named a two-time NFCA All-American, a two-time NJCAA All-American, and a two-time First Team All-Jayhawk East and First Team All-Region VI performer as both an infielder and outfielder during the 1997 and 1998 seasons.


After a successful career at Cowley County, Unruh transferred to Fort Hays State University where she set eight offensive records for the Tigers while earning back-to-back First Team All-RMAC honors in 1999 and 2000.

· National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American team 1997 & 1998

· Voted by my team as Most Offensive Hitter 1997 & 1998

· Held 12 Offensive Records for Cowley Softball program until 2005

· February Student Athlete of the Month 1998

· 1st Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) 1999-2000

· Set 8 Offensive Records for Fort Hays State University Softball program
