I began my collegiate career as a player at Bethel College. We won two conference championships and I was awarded KCAC player of the year in 1994. Tabor Volleyball has been consecutive KCAC Champions for six years: 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006. We've advanced to the regional tournament in ‘03, ‘05, ‘06 and I was awarded Coach of the Year in ‘01, ‘02, ‘03. Of the 70 women I have had the privilege to work with, 19 have continued on to coach volleyball at different levels.

I have my teaching degree and taught in the public school system for 5 years.

I am married with 4 children. I also grew up and now live in Hillsboro, KS.

My goal as a coach is to create a playing field where all athletes can grow and play at the top of their ability. Our everyday team atmosphere is a desire to follow Philippians 4:8: Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. I believe that if we follow those principles and are focused on excellence, the winning becomes the reward for a job well done.
