Coaching Style:
I want to have fun and enjoy everything we do as a team. Being a part of a team is a special experience and I want to enjoy every moment by working hard, having high expectations for our team and myself and enjoying the individual personalities of every member of our team. I want to be successful on the court but I also want our players to grow as people and grow closer to Christ as well.
What is special about athletics at Tabor:
Tabor is a decidedly Christian institution which provides its students with great opportunities to grow academically, athletically and spiritually. The athletic department seeks to stimulate Christian growth through providing excellent programs that promote growth. I love having the ability to integrate my faith into my profession.
How do you integrate faith into coaching:
There are many ways we will implement our faith but some simple examples include: weekly devotions, prayer before and after practice, small group bible studies led by team members, various service projects, by competing hard and simultaneously respecting our opponents and officials, loving and supporting team members and using the talents and abilities God has given us to represent His Kingdom.
