HILLSBORO, Kan. - Butler County Community College transfer Sean Rothwell (Wichita, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to play football next season at Tabor College.

Rothwell, a 5-10, 180-pound kicker, will be looked at to make an immediate impact to the Bluejays kicking game this season.

During his career at Wichita Heights High School Rothwell earned Honorable Mention All-City honors during his junior season and Second Team All-City honors during his senior season.

He has also excelled in the classroom as a member of the Dean's Honor Roll at Butler County where he earned his Associates of Arts degree.

"Sean has just given us a scoring threat when we cross the 25 yard-line," said Head Football Coach Mike Gardner. "We are glad he committed to Tabor and I look forward to working with him this fall."

Sean is the son of Marty and Susan Rothwell.
