HILLSBORO, Kan. - Highland Community College transfer Jeremiah Lauts (Atchison, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to play baseball next season at Tabor College.

Lauts, a 5-11, 215-pound catcher, will be looked at to bring experience and strength while making an impact behind the plate next season for the Bluejays.

"Jeremiah will come in and compete at the catcher position," said Head Baseball Coach Mark Standiford. "He plays hard and has tremendous knowledge of the game. He is also an accomplished hitter and receiver and will be a big part of our team next year."

Jeremiah is the son of Timothy and Emerald Lauts.
