HILLSBORO, Kan. - Hesston College transfer Chris Dawson (El Dorado, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to play baseball next season at Tabor College.

Dawson, a 5-10, 210-pound third baseman, second baseman, and first baseman, helped set four team records while leading the Larks to the regional finals with a record of 22-16.

During his career at El Dorado High School Dawson earned team MVP honors for the Wildcats in 2009. His ability to play multiple positions in the field will be a huge asset to the Bluejays next season.

"Chris is transferring from Hesston College where he was an infielder and utility player," said Head Baseball Coach Mark Standiford. "He will fight for time at second base and in the outfield next season, and I'm looking forward to having Chris at Tabor."

Chris is the son of Dale and Debra Dawson.
