
HILLSBORO, Kan. - Maize High School graduate Kelyn Vix (Maize, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to play tennis next season for Tabor College.
Vix, a class 6A state qualifier helped lead the Eagles to a sixth place finish at the Kansas State Tennis Tournament this past season. He has also excelled in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society and the High Honors at Maize High School.
"Kelyn's decision to play tennis at Tabor is awesome news," said Head Men's Tennis Coach Michael Hagen. "He has done an outstanding job improving his tennis game in the last two years and has the work ethic to continue that for us. He will definitely make an impact on our men's team, and I am excited for him to join us in the fall."
Kelyn is the son of Lyndon and Annette Vix.
