HILLSBORO, Kan. - South Barber High School graduate Katie Becker (Kiowa, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to play tennis next season at Tabor College.

During her career for the Chieftains Becker, reached the regional tournament during her sophomore season, the sub-state tournament during her junior season, and the state tournament during her senior season where she placed seventh.

She has also excelled in the classroom as well as a member of the National Honor Society while earning the academic excellence award.

"Signing Katie was great for our women's program," said Head Women's Tennis Coach Michael Hagen. "She is going to be a tremendous fit on the Tabor campus as well as add some needed depth to our team. I am excited for her to join us in the fall."

Katie is the daughter of Scott and Sue Becker.
