HILLSBORO, Kan. - Cloud County Community College transfer Brian Kowal (Wichita, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to play baseball next season at Tabor College.

Kowal, a 6-2, 200-pound pitcher, will be looked at to make an immediate impact and provide depth to the Bluejays pitching staff next season.

During his career at Goddard High School Kowal earned Class 6A First Team All-State and AVCTL All-League honors.

"Brian will come in and compete for one of our starting spots," said Head Baseball Coach Mark Standiford. "He is a hard thrower that knows how to pitch, and will be a great addition to our staff and Tabor College."

Brian is the son of Anthony and Susan Kowal.
