HILLSBORO, Kan. - Guyer High School graduate Jocelyn Cook (Denton, Texas) has signed a letter of intent to play basketball next season for Tabor College.

Cook, 5-4 point guard, will be looked at to help provide depth to the Lady Jays backcourt play next season.

During her career at Guyer High School, Cook earned District 5-4A Newcomer of the Year honors her freshman year, Honorable Mention All-District honors her sophomore year, and First Team All-District honors during her junior and senior seasons.

She also helped lead the Wildcats to the B-District title during the 2007-08 season and the Bi-District quarterfinals during the 2009-10 season. Cook has also excelled in the classroom as she received Academic All-District honors during her senior year.

"Jocelyn is a great fit for our basketball program at Tabor," said Head Women's Basketball Coach Shawn Winter. "She is a great student, a talented basketball player, and possesses strong Christian character. Jocelyn is a gifted athlete who has the ability to help our team play a more aggressive style of basketball on both ends of the court, and we are excited to have her in a Tabor uniform for the next four seasons."

Jocelyn is the daughter of Veronica and True Osgood.
