HILLSBORO, Kan. - Troup High School senior Tyler Davis (Troup, Texas) has signed a letter of intent to play football next season at Tabor College.

Davis, a 5-11, 176-pound quarterback, earned All-District honors as a the Tigers signal caller. At Tabor, he will make the transition to a slot receiver and be looked at to provide depth to the Bluejays receiving corps next season.

"Tyler is versatile in that he can do a variety of things well, which will help him make the transition to a slot receiver," said Head Football Coach Mike Gardner. "We are excited to add a player of his ability and look forward to seeing him on campus and on the field this fall."

Tyler is the son of Finley and Christine Davis.
