HILLSBORO, Kan. - Rochester Community and Technology College transfer Aaron Annis (Mapleton, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to play football next season for Tabor College.

Annis, a 6-0, 165-pound punter and place kicking holder, earned First Team All-State honors in 2009, while being named Player of the Game in the semifinal game of the 2009 season.

During his career at RCTC, Annis recorded 26 kills inside the opponents' 20 yard line, and was part of the 2007 NJCAA Division III National Champion and State Champion titles for the Yellow Jackets. He also helped lead RCTC to a victory in the Northern Star Bowl game in 2008.

"Aaron has a good leg and has been able to keep his opponents inside the 20 yard line consistently," said Head Football Coach Mike Gardner. "He is a coaches son who understands his role and should be a real help this season."

Aaron is the son of Jeff and Linda Annis.
