HILLSBORO, Kan. -
Camas High School senior Jessica Yraceburu (Camas, Wash.) has signed a letter
of intent to compete in track and field and soccer next season for Tabor
College.
In track and field, Yraceburu a four-year letter
winner who specialized in the pole vault was a two-time state competitor during
her career for the Papermakers.
"Jessica is an excellent two-sport athlete who will be
immediately competitive in the pole vault for our women's track team," said
Head Track and Field Coach Dave Kroeker. "I'm excited about her
contribution to both our track program and the Tabor campus."
In soccer Yraceburu a wing, will be looked at to help
provide depth to the Lady Jays midfield play next season.
Head Women's Soccer Coach Grant Brubacher added "Jessica
comes to us very highly recommended. Her combination of skills, athleticism,
and work ethic will allow her to compete for playing time immediately. I look
forward to working with her and I am very excited about her decision to become
a Bluejay."
Yraceburu has also excelled in the classroom as a member of
the Camas High School Honor Roll.
Jessica is the daughter of Bob and Joey Yraceburu.
