HILLSBORO, Kan. - Sullivan High School senior Chelsea Brown (Sullivan, Mo.) has signed a letter of intent to play soccer next season for Tabor College.

Brown, a 5-8 goalkeeper, recorded 481 saves this past season for the Eagles including a game-high of 43 saves.

During her career at Sullivan High School, Brown was named the 2010 Most Outstanding Player while earning Four Rivers Second Team All-Conference honors. She was also the recipient of Rotary Award for most outstanding performance in women's soccer.

Brown has also excelled in the classroom as a recipient of the High Schools That Work Award, a member of Club 21, and a four-year member of the National Honor Society.

"I am very excited to have Chelsea join our program," said Head Women's Soccer Coach Grant Brubacher. "She will help bring size and toughness to our goalkeeping position next season. Her abilities and work ethic will allow her to compete for playing time as a freshman. I look forward to coaching her and watching her grow as a player and a person."

Chelsea is the daughter of R.J. and Veronica Brown.
