HILLSBORO, Kan. - Tabor College Women's Track and Field athlete Tasia Johnson has been named KCAC Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance at the Enduro Classic at Friends University in Wichita, Kan.

Johnson, a senior from Dallas, Texas, placed first in three events, including the long jump in which she qualified for the NAIA National Track and Field Championships with a jump of 5.51 meters (18'1").

She also placed first in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.50 seconds, and was part of Tabor's 4 x 100 meter relay team which placed first with a time of 49.73.

"Tasia is a gifted athlete and she is going to jump further and run faster before the season is over," said Head Track and Field Coach Dave Kroeker. "She really came from behind on Saturday running the anchor leg and that was gratifying to see."
