
HILLSBORO, Kan. - Sophomore Samantha VanRanken (Medicine Lodge, Kan.) and freshman Emily Post (Wray, Colo.) qualified for the NAIA National Track and Field Championships at the Tabor College Spring Break Invitational held at Joel H. Wiens Stadium.
VanRanken placed first and earned an A-standard qualifying mark in the javelin while setting a new school record with a throw of 133'0'.
Post also place first and earned a B-standard qualifying mark in the triple jump with a jump of 37'4".
The 2010 NAIA National Track and Field Championships will
take place May 27-29 at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind.
