Tabor College freshman basketball standout Tynan Honn (Hutchinson, Kan.) had
been recognized by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference for her
efforts this season as she was named to two All-KCAC Teams.
Honn, apost player for the Lady Jays, was named to the
Honorable Mention All-KCAC Team as well as the All-KCAC Freshmen Team, an
honorgiven to the top five freshmen in the conference.
Honn led the Lady Jays in scoring, with 12.8 points
per-game, and in rebounding, with 6.8 rebounds per-game, ranking her 13th
and seventh in the conference, respectively. She also led the Lady Jays in
field goal percentage at 50 percent, while racking up 17 steals and five blocks

"Tynan had an outstanding freshman season both on and
off the court," said Head Women's Basketball Coach Shawn Winter. "She quickly
became a strong team leader and provided great leadership in the
locker room. The recognition she received from our conference was well
deserved. Tynan has a bright future not only for our basketball program but in
our conference as well."
