Tynan Honn tallied 20 points for the Lady Jays in the game

HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Tabor College Women's Basketball season came to a close Thursday night in Winfield, Kan., where the sixth-seeded Lady Jays fell to third seed Southwestern College, 67-40.


A slow start put Tabor down early as Southwestern scored 34 first half points in route to a 15 first half point lead, 34-19.


The Moundbuilders outscored Tabor 33-21 in the second half to secure the victory.


Freshman Tynan Honn (Hutchinson, Kan.) led the Bluejays offensively with 20 points to go along with five rebounds. Sophomore Sarah Wyckoff (Blackwell, Okla.) chipped in with six points, while senior Stephanie Silvas (Dexter, N.M.) added four points.


Tabor finished the season with a 5-13 record in the KCAC and 6-23 record overall.
