HILLSBORO, Kan. - With the end of the
indoor track season, four Tabor College track and field athletes have qualified
for the NAIA National Indoor Track and Field Championships, to be held at East
Tennessee State University March 4-6.
Tabor
qualifiers for the National meet include senior Tasia Johnson (New Orleans,
La.) in the long jump and the 60 meter dash; seniors Kelli Kopper (Cimarron,
Kan.) and Justin Ball (Welda, Kan.) in the 600 meter run; and freshman Emily
Post (Wray, Colo.) in the triple jump.
Johnson
has the sixth best long jump in the nation so far this season, while Ball who
qualified at this past weekends meet held at Kansas State University, has the
11th best 600 meter time in the nation.
