HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Tabor College Women's Basketball team fell to the visiting Lady Coyotes of Kansas Wesleyan, 68-47, on Saturday night.

Tabor, which had lost the pervious meeting back in January, came out focused and strong as the Lady Jays led, 15-13, at the midway point of the first half.

However, Kansas Wesleyan would outscore the Lady Jays, 18-9, over the next ten minutes to take a 31-24 lead into the break.

In the second half Tabor would continue to battle but struggled to slow down the Coyotes offense as Kansas Wesleyan continued to extend its lead en route to the victory.

Sophomore MacKenzie Dick (Henderson, Neb.) led the Lady Jays offensively with 14 points, five rebounds, while freshman Tynan Honn (Hutchinson, Kan.) racked up 13 points to go along with seven rebounds.

Tabor (4-10 KCAC, 5-19 Overall) will travel to play Newman University Monday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. in Wichita, Kan.
