
McPHERSON, Kan. - Coming off the heels of its most impressive victory of the season against Bethel College, the Tabor College Men's Basketball Team fell flat Saturday night, as the McPherson College Bulldogs defeated the Bluejays, 91-65, in McPherson.
Tabor struggled to get anything going in the first half and fell behind early as the Bluejays shot just nine percent from behind the arc and 30 percent from the field. McPherson jumped out to a 40-25 halftime lead behind 57 percent shooting from the field.
Tabor struggled to get stops or slow down a Bulldog offense in the second half. McPherson shot 63 percent from the field and 80 percent from behind the arc to earn the victory.
Tabor was led offensively by sophomore Cody Arnold, (Leon, Kan.) with 23 points, while senior Dan Hann (Phoenix, Ariz.) added 12 points to go along with seven rebounds.
Junior Damon Dechant (Kit Carson, Colo.) also grabbed seven rebounds to go along with 10 points, while freshman Ryan Chippeaux (Wichita, Kan.) chipped in with seven points.
Tabor (4-8 KCAC 7-14 Overall) will return home to take on Ottawa University Thursday Feb. 4, at 8 p.m.
