HILLSBORO, Kan. -- The Tabor College Men's Basketball fell to hot-shooting Sterling College, 90-78, Saturday night to open up the second round of KCAC play.

Tabor had won the previous meeting between the two schools in early December but came out flat and allowed the Warriors to jump to an early lead.

Tabor found its rhythm offensively but struggled on the defensive end to get stops as Sterling went into halftime leading, 46-33.

The Bluejays defensive struggles continued in the second half, while the Warriors shot a blistering 63 percent for the game to secure the victory.

Sophomore Cody Arnold (Leon, Kan.) led the Bluejays offensively with 22 points and five rebounds, while junior Damon Dechant (Kit Carson, Colo.) racked-up 16 points and five rebounds.

The Bluejays also got offensive contributions from senior Dan Hann (Phoenix, Ariz.) with 10 points, while freshman Lawson Kingsley (Sedgwick, Kan.) added nine points to go along with a team high seven rebounds.

Tabor (3-7 KCAC 6-13 Overall) will take on Bethel College in North Newton, Kan. Thursday Jan. 28, at 8 p.m.
