
Hillsboro, Kan. - Sophomores Mandi Phillips and Tina Frick have been named KCAC Players of the Week for their performances in helping lead the Bluejays to the KCAC regular season title and a 2-0 record over this past week with wins over Ottawa University and the University of St. Mary.
For an amazing sixth time this season, Phillips (Halstead,
Kan.) was named KCAC Setter of the Week as well as KCAC Volleyball Player of
the Week recording 78 assists, with an amazing average of 13 assists per-game
over the two game stretch. Her three services aces and 11 digs also played a
major roll in the Bluejays success during the week.
For the third time this season Frick (Durham, Kan.) earned KCAC Hitter of the Week honors as she racked-up 29 kills with an average of 4.83 per-game. Her four digs, two total blocks, two service aces, and an attack percentage of .531 also provided the Bluejays a lift.
