Hillsboro, Kan. - As the KCAC regular soccer season enters its final week of play, the Tabor College Women's Soccer team returned home Wednesday evening, falling to Kansas Wesleyan University by the score of 3-1.

Kansas Wesleyan wasted no time getting on the board early as the Coyotes scored just six minutes into the match to take the early, 1-0, lead.

Tabor would weather the storm and answer back with a game tying goal off the foot of junior Leigh Costello (The Colony, Texas) just 11 minutes later to tie the score at one apiece.

The tie would not last for long however as the Coyotes, who are currently sitting second in the KCAC standings, would regain the lead at, 2-1, less than two minutes later, a lead that they would take into the break.

In the second half Tabor would struggle to produce any offense as Kansas Wesleyan added an insurance goal to secure the 3-1 victory.

Senior goal keeper Aubrey Whitehorn (Duncanville, Texas) recorded six saves in net as the Lady Jays were out shot 24-6 in the match.

Tabor (1-5-2 KCAC, 3-10-3 Overall) will host Bethel College in its regular season finally Saturday Oct. 31, at 6 p.m. at Joel H. Wiens Stadium.
