Hillsboro, Kan. -
With just two games left in regular season play, the Tabor College Men's Soccer
Team picked-up a huge conference win on the road Saturday afternoon in
Sterling, Kan. defeating Sterling College by the score of 2-1.
After a scoreless first half the Bluejays wasted no
time getting on the board in the second half as sophomore Robert Masson
(Dalgety Bay, Scotland) scored just over a minute into the half to give Tabor
its first lead of the match at 1-0.
Penalty kicks would account for the rest of the
scoring in the match. Sterling would tie the game at one apiece before junior
Marcos Bandeira's (Porto Alegre, Brazil) penalty kick would regain the lead and
earn the victory for the Bluejays at 2-1.
Tabor (4-3 KCAC, 7-8-1 Overall) will return home to
host Kansas Wesleyan University Wednesday Oct. 28, at 7 p.m.
