Luke Weemes Had a Goal and an Assist in the Victory for the Bluejays
Men's Soccer - Thu, Oct 15, 2009

Hillsboro, Kan - Cold weather and rain could not slow down the Bluejays offense Wednesday night, as the Tabor College Men's Soccer Team dominated Southwestern College, 6-0.

Trailing, 1-0, early, Southwestern scored just 12 minutes into the match, but the Bluejays erupted for six unanswered goals from six different players to take control, and remain just one game back of first place in the conference.

Leading goal-scorer senior Andy Adrian (Buhler, Kan.) got tied the score at one apiece, off a pass from senior Dallas Pruitt (McPherson, Kan.) 30 minutes into the first half.

Just five minutes later, Tabor would take a 2-1 lead as junior Nicholas Ouzounis (Aurora, Colo.) scored off a pass from Adrian, a lead the Bluejays would take into the break.

Tabor dominated the second half as sophomore Robert Masson (Dalgety Bay, Scotland), junior Marcos Bandeira (Porto Alegre, Brazil), and freshmen Luke Weemes (London, England), and James Aaron Baxter (Olathe, Kan.) each added goals in the victory.

Weemes, Adrian, and sophomore Liam Mclean (Newcastle, England) tallied second half assists as Tabor out-shot Southwestern 26-2 in the match.

Tabor (3-1 KCAC, 7-5-1 Overall) will host Ottawa University Saturday Oct. 17th at 3 p.m. at Joel H. Wiens Stadium.
