Hillsboro, Kan. - The
Tabor College Football Team will host their annual Blue Gold Scrimmage
at 7 p.m. Saturday Sept., 5 at the newly constructed Joel Wiens Stadium.
Admission is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
"Our players have been at it for over a week now,"
said Head Football Coach Mike Gottsch. "With a big scrimmage Saturday and less
than a couple weeks before our opener, I am excited about their commitment to
excellence and their passion to put team ahead of
self."
"Our motto for the season is climbing the mountain"
Gottsch added. "When Champs hit a wall they find ways to push and press
forward and upward."I believe we have genuine toughness,and determined men on
this team and I can't wait to see them compete this
season."

The
Bluejays will open up the regular season on the road in Salina at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 12 against the Coyotes of Kansas Wesleyan University before
returning home for their home opener at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 against Bethany
College.
