Hillsboro, Kan. - Plano East Senior High School graduate Aaron Welch (Plano, Texas) has signed a letter of intent to play baseball this season for Tabor College.
Welch, a 5-9, pitcher, first baseman, and outfielder, will be looked at to provide immediate help and add depth to the Bluejays pitching rotation this season.
"Aaron gives us some much needed left handed help on the
mound," said Head Baseball Coach Mark Standiford. "He throws three pitches for
strikes and can throw all of them at anytime in the count. Players love to play
behind him, because he does a great job of pitching to contact. I look forward
to working with Aaron during his career at Tabor."
Aaron is the son of Jeff and Tammy Welch.
