Hillsboro, Kan. -
Goddard High School graduate Taylor Douglas (Wichita, Kan.) has signed a letter
of intent to play both football and baseball next season for Tabor College.
Douglas, a 5'10, 150-pound wide receiver and defensive back,
will be looked at to provide depth to the Bluejays receiving corps this season.
While at Goddard High School, Douglas led the Lions in interceptions
for three consecutive years and earned Second Team All-League honors during his
senior season.
"Taylor is a solid area athlete," said Head Football
Coach Mike Gottsch. "Anytime we can sign a quality local student-athlete it
lets us know recruiting is going well. We look for Taylor to compete well
at the receiver spot this fall and for him to continue to develop his skills as
a wide receiver throughout the season."
