Hillsboro, Kan. - Goddard High School graduate Taylor Douglas (Wichita, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to participate in both baseball and football next season for the Bluejays.

Douglas, a 5-10, 150-pound center fielder, will be looked at to provide immediate depth to the Bluejays outfield core next season.

While at Goddard High School, Douglas earned First Team All-League honors and Second Team All State honors for his play in centerfielder for the Lions.

"Taylor is an outstanding defensive center fielder," said Head Baseball Coach Mark Standiford. "You would be hard pressed to find a player better at going and getting a baseball. He possesses good speed, and can handle the bat well at the plate. I look forTaylor will play a big role on our team next spring."

Taylor is the son of Ron and Kim Douglas.
