High School graduate DeAndrea Pierce (Arp, Texas)
has signed a letter of intent to compete in both track and field and volleyball
next season for the Lady Jays.
Pierce, a 5-10, sprinter, earned the Most Outstanding Track
Award during her senior year as she helped lead Bishop Thomas
K. Gorman
High School to two
district titles, a regional title and a regional runner-up finish during her
career.
She has also excelled in the classroom as a member of the
National Honor Society, the high school honor roll, and was selected as a
member of the Who's Who Among American High School Students.
"DeAndrea's athleticism will help our women's team in a number
of areas." said Head Women's Track and Field Coach Dave Kroeker. "She will us
in our sprint relays and hopefully in several individual events. I am excited
about DeAndrea being at Tabor this fall."
DeAndrea is the daughter of Lloyd and Lakeythra Pierce.
