Hillsboro, Kan. - Salida High School graduate Marcus Vance (Salida, Colo.) has signed a letter of intent to play football next season for Tabor College.

Vance, a 5-11, 225-pound offensive and defensive lineman, will be looked at to help provide depth to the Bluejays defense next season.

While at Salida High School, Vance was named the 2008 Co-Lineman of the Year while also excelling in the classroom as a four-year honor roll recipient.

"I am glad Marcus has chosen Tabor College to continue his athletic and academic pursuits," said Head Football Coach Mike Gottsch. "He will help provide depth to our defensive line next season and we look forward to his arrival on campus this fall."

Marcus is the son of Robert and Unita Vance.
