Hillsboro, Kan. - Southeastern High School of Technology graduate Ricaya Edwards (Detroit, Mich.) has signed a letter of intent to run track next season for the Lady Jays.

Edwards, a 5-6, sprinter and hurdler, was a four-year letter winner and named team captain during her career for the Lions.

She also received 16 medals ranging from bronze to gold, and was nominated for the Bettsy Smith Student Athlete Award. She will be looked at to help provide depth next season in the hurdles for the Lady Jays.

"Ricaya brings a lot of potential as a hurdler to our women's program," said Head Women's Track and Field Coach Dave Kroeker. "I am excited about her future contributions to the women's track team and to the Tabor College campus."

Ricaya is the daughter of Tonya Edwards.
