Hillsboro, Kan. - Fossil Ridge High School graduate Zach Bissell (Windsor, Colo.) has signed a letter of intent to play baseball next season for the Bluejays.

Bissell, a 6-2, 265-pound corner infielder, will be looked at to provide depth at first base next season for the Bluejays.

While at Fossil Ridge High School, Bissell was a two-year letter winner while helping lead the Sabercats to a third place state finish during the 2008 season.

"Zach is a great kid who possesses a hard work ethic," said Head Baseball Coach Mark Standiford. "He will provide us with some depth at first base as well as some potential power from the right side of the plate. I am excited that Zach has chosen Tabor College and I look forward to his arrival on campus this fall."

Zach is the son of Todd and Brenda Bissell.
