Hillsboro, Kan. - The Tabor College Women's Basketball Staff held its fourth annual women's summer basketball camp this past week on the main campus of Tabor College.

"Our 4th annual basketball camp was a great experience for the campers as well as the camp staff," said Tabor College Head Women's Coach Shawn Winter. "It was a privilege to work with such a great group of young ladies that range from grades 3-9 during the four day event.

"We worked hard at developing individual skills including ball handling, passing, and shooting," Winter added. "We accomplished this by running a variety of drills as well as competitive games that were geared toward executing the skills at game speed."

Two dozen future Lady Jay campers received valuable one on one instruction from Coach Winter and his staff that included Lady Jays Assistant Coaches Macy Fadenrecht and Erin Runge, along with current Lady Jay Sarah Wyckoff.

"I believe the staff often learns just as much as the campers and we all had a great time with the campers!" said Winter
