Hillsboro, Kan. - Tabor College Head Track and Field
Coach Dave Kroeker has been named the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference
Women's Track and Field Coach of the Year.
Coach Kroeker helped lead the Lady Jays to first place
finishes in the McPherson Invitational, the ACCK meet, and a second place
finish in the KCAC conference meet.
"It is a great honor to receive this award from my
fellow coaches in the KCAC," said Kroeker. "It is recognition from people
who know what it takes to put together a good team that gives special
significance for me in receiving this award.
"The award, however, really belongs to the women on our team
who performed so well at the conference meet and throughout this season,"
Kroeker added."It also is not accomplished without terrific assistant
coaches, Joel Soo Hoo, Ken Christensen, Dave Espada,Andy Shewey, Trent Voth,
and Jeff Harms who all contributed significantly to the success of the Tabor
Women's Track team."
