Hillsboro, Kan. - Cedar Valley College transfer Nick Trompert (Dallas, Texas) has signed a letter of intent to play baseball next season for the Bluejays.

Trompert, a 6-7, 205-pound right handed pitcher will bring immediate help and provide depth to the Bluejays pitching rotation next season.

"Nick is a player that can come in right away and make an impact," said Head Baseball Coach Mark Standiford. "He brings both the physical and mental side of the game that helps make him a true pitcher. Nick comes from and outstanding family and I believe will be a great fit for us hear a Tabor."

Nick is the son of Jack and Janet Trompert.
