Hillsboro, Kan. - Maize High School senior Jakob Brucks (Wichita, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to play tennis next season for the Bluejays.

Brucks, a 6-0, 165-pound singles and doubles player, qualified for the Class 6A Kansas State Tennis Tournament in doubles during the 2007-08 season for the Eagles.

"Jake will bring to the table both a high work ethic in the classroom as well as the tennis court," said Head Men's Tennis Coach Michael Hagen. "He was a 2008 state qualifier and will help us right away. We are excited to add Jake to our team."

Jake is the son of Paul and Nancy Brucks, and the twin brother of Bluejay signee Samuel Brucks.
