Daniel Jost (Hillsboro, Kan.) Signs His Letter of Intent to play Baseball Next Season for the Bluejays

Hillsboro, Kan. - Hillsboro High School senior Daniel Jost (Hillsboro, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to play baseball next season for the Bluejays.

 

Jost, 1 6-2, 175-pound shortstop, will bring depth the Bluejays middle infield next season.

 

While at Hillsboro High School Jost was named MCAA All-League as a designated hitter and Honorable Mention as a short stop. He was also named to the class 3-A All-State First Team as a designated hitter during the 2008 season.


"Daniel is among just a handful of athletes that can truly excel at two different sports at the collegiate level," said Head Baseball Coach Mark Standiford. "I am very excited to have him be part of our team and I know that he will be an important part in helping to take our program to the next level."


Daniel is the son of Clyde and Sharon Jost.
