Hillsboro, Kan. - Phillipsburg High School senior Zachary Eli Wood (Phillipsburg, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to compete next season for the Tabor College Men's Track and Field and football teams.

Wood, a 6-2, 220-pound javelin, shot put and discuss thrower, will bring depth to the Bluejays throwers next season. While at Phillipsburg High School, Wood placed third in the javelin at the state track meet as a junior.

"Zach is a great addition to our throwers at Tabor," said Head Men's Track and Field Coach Dave Kroeker. "His dedication, determination, and results during his time at Tabor will be exciting to see. His comment to his throws will be infectious as well as productive."

Zachary is the son of Robert and Regina Wood.
