Hillsboro, Kan. - Wichita East High School senior Jacob Heil has signed a letter of intent to run both cross country and track for the Bluejays next season.

"I am really excited about Jacob as a runner," said Head Track Coach Dave Kroeker. "He comes from a great running program at Wichita East and will really help our distance program at Tabor.

"Heil is interested in running the 3000m steeplechase in college, which is such a demanding race that is not run often in high school.

"Special thanks to Barry Raugust, a Tabor alum and science teacher at East, for his help in the recruiting process," Kroeker added
