Senior Audrey Schellenberg (Wichita, Kan.) was one of four Bluejays named to the All-KCAC Teams

Hillsboro, Kan - Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference honored four Bluejay volleyball players for their efforts this season, as they were named to the All-KCAC Teams.


Senior Audrey Schellenberg (Wichita, Kan.) received top honors as she was named First Team All-Conference. Schellenberg was named KCAC Setter of the Week three times during the year, leading the Bluejays in assists per game at 6.95, ranking her third in the conference.


Schellenberg also led the Bluejays in serving percentage at 96 percent, while finishing second on the team in service aces per game.


"Audrey was a solid senior leader on and off the court," said Head Coach Amy Ratzlaff.


Junior Ashley Cohlmia (Wichita, Kan.) received top honors as well as she was named First Team All-Conference. Cohlmia led the Bluejays in kills per game at 3.02 ranking her sixth in the conference. Cohlmia's .06 aces per game led the Bluejays and ranked her 4th in the conference. Cohlmia also led the Bluejays in digs per game at 2.88 and passing percentage at 97 percent.


"Ashley was a solid, all-around player for us contributing to our success in almost every category," said Ratzlaff.


Senior Heather Witham (Wichita, Kan.) was named Honorable Mention All-Conference. Witham led the Bluejays in blocks per game at 1.04, ranking her second in the conference.


Witham was also second on the team in hitting percentage at 25.6 percent and fourth on the team in kills per game at 1.63.


"Heather provided spiritual leadership for the team and was a role model for the entire team," said Ratzlaff. "Her dedication to the team at the end of the season played a part in the momentum we gained in the second round."


Sophomore Jordan Crosson (Minneapolis, Kan.) was named Honorable Mention All-Conference. Crosson led the Bluejays in hitting percentage at 2.77, while being second on the team in kills per game at 2.02. Crosson also was second on the team in block per game at .86 ranking her eighth in the conference.


"Jordan is a dedicated team player with a super work ethic that pays off in big games," said Ratzlaff. "She never lets up when she is in a game."


Tabor will graduate three seniors this season including First Team All-Conference player Schellenberg, and Honorable Mention All-Conference player Witham. The third senior is Clancey Kelly (Wichita, Kan.).


"Clancey has shown so much heart and dedication to the team this season," said Ratzlaff. "She worked hard every day and it paid off. She provided energy and passion to our defense and poured herself into the team."


"These seniors were a huge part of everything "Tabor Volleyball" stands for," added Ratzlaff. "They have given us amazing memories and will be truly missed."
