Junior Aubrey Whitehorn (Duncanville, Texas.) was named KCAC Defensive Player of the Week

Hillsboro, Kan. - Tabor College Women's Soccer juniors Jessica Burden (Little Elm, Texas.) and Aubrey Whitehorn (Duncanville, Texas.) were honored this week by the KCAC as conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.

Burden was named KCAC Offensive player of the Week after she tallied seven goals (4 against Friends, 3 against Bethany) and one assist in leading the Bluejays to wins over Friends University, and Bethany College in the first round of the KCAC tournament.

Whitehorn was named KCAC Defensive Player of the Week, as she recorded her fourth and fifth shutouts of the season for the Bluejays. In the win over Friends, Whitehorn was outstanding, stopping all 13 shots she faced. Against Bethany she was equally up to the challenge, as she stopped all four shots on goal.

Both women have played a major role in the turnaround of the Bluejays soccer team that went winless last season, and now finds itself in the semifinals of the KCAC tournament.
